"Let’s get out of here and see just how much fun we can have while you try to tame me." Aleksei pulled Helena back to him, laid one more hot quick kiss on her, and grabbed her hand. He took a step toward the door and gave her a tug, but she needed to know he wasn’t trying to force her to do anything.
"Come with me. Let our fan club think all kinds of dirty minded things about where we’re going and what we’re going to do. Once we’re out those doors, I can go home, and you can do whatever it was you wanted to do today besides getting set up on a blind date with me." He purposefully let his shoulders drop and his muscles relax so he appeared nonchalant about this whole deal he was making with the devil.
"Fine," she whispered back. "But only because I don’t want to get set up anymore. I actually did want to hang out with my friends today and eat more turkey than is reasonable."
"I’m sure some do-gooder will bring me leftovers. I promise you can have them all." He gave her a little wink and another tug toward the door. With one last look back toward the happy party, she followed him out the back door of the Naughty Wolf.
